What options are available to teenagers?
Invisalign has several treatment options available for teenagers, depending on the stage of teeth development.
Some teenagers will be suitable for the same Invisalign treatment as adult patients. Younger teenagers or those whose adult teeth have not yet erupted can be treated with Invisalign Teen – a treatment designed specifically for teenagers. Doctor Bahri Adis will determine which treatment best suits your individual needs and the condition of your teeth.
Invisalign aligners are also removable, so teenagers can continue brushing and flossing normally.

Invisalign Teen has been developed with teenagers, parents and leading orthodontists who understand the active lifestyles and unique treatment needs of teenage patients.
The Invisalign Teen aligners are made with the same Invisalign technology used for adult Invisalign aligners, moving teeth gradually without the need for metal or wires.
Yet, because teens (and their mouths) are constantly on the move, a few special features have been added:
Compliance Indicators fading from blue to clear to help providers, parents and teenagers gauge wear time.
Special features designed to compensate for the eruption of canines, second premolars and second molars.
Six free individual replacement aligners are included in case any are lost or misplaced.

Treatment Process
A Custom-made Invisalign Treatment
Before a treatment plan can be created, Dr. Bahri Adis, Invisalign Provider, will take an impression of a patient’s teeth to check whether they can be straightened using the Invisalign System. Once confirmed, a detailed treatment plan will then be developed using ClinCheck®, a virtual 3D treatment plan. ClinCheck shows the series of movements patient’s teeth are expected to undergo over the course of the treatment – so patients can see how their teeth will look at the end of their Invisalign treatment before it even begins.
Smiling every step of the way
When patients begin an Invisalign treatment, they will wear each set of custom-made aligners in two-week increments. As they progress through the series of aligners, their teeth will begin moving, little by little, gradually moving towards the planned final position.
During this time patients will have occasional check-ups with Dr Adis in order to monitor their progress and ensure they are comfortable with the treatment.
